Hello,

Unfortunately, I have to bring up the common topic of fitting a dishwasher from a different manufacturer, as I haven’t found clear information online and there seems to be a lot of confusion around this.

We want to buy a METOD kitchen with the GRYTNÄS front plus an 8cm (3 inch) toe kick. The dishwasher is planned to be placed between the sink cabinet and the stove.

We would like to buy a dishwasher. The question is, the measurements should fit well, I tried to compare the dimensions with IKEA dishwashers and didn’t find significant differences. However, I read in another thread that it’s recommended to use an XXL dishwasher. Why is that? Can’t we use the ones I mentioned just as well?

Also, what do I need to install the GRYTNÄS dishwasher front on a Siemens dishwasher?

Best regards

Unfortunately not, but when I got home, I remembered where the problem with our solution lies. Since the control panel for the semi-integrated model is mounted on the outside, we have a 60 x 60 cm (24 x 24 inches) blank panel attached. However, because the control panel is not 20 cm (8 inches) high, the front panel does not extend all the way to the bottom. The "missing" 8 cm (3 inches) is actually what allows the door to open at all. Otherwise, it wouldn’t work!

Haha, tablet! So, here are some pictures:

Is there no replacement available for the current sliding rails since they have now been discontinued?

Thank you for the pictures. Personally, I would prefer ERSÄTTARE for the semi-integrated model.

As for my information, no, the customer will need to come up with a solution.

Oh, I wasn’t familiar with that yet. However, it wouldn’t have made any difference...

The front would align at the bottom with the neighboring fronts.

Yes... what’s next? Then I would have a gap of about 8cm (3 inches) between the control panel and the front. Since this “gap” is only about 8cm (3 inches), I don’t think there’s a matching front panel piece available.
