ᐅ IKEA Metod 20-inch drawers look better than the wire basket drawers.

I’m currently at IKEA and just tried out the new 20cm (8 inches) wide, 80cm (31 inches) high Metod drawers that will replace the previous wire drawers. They are white inside, have two levels (not sure if height adjustable), and feature soft close. I don’t know the price and whether I’m allowed to upload a photo I took myself. But I liked them much better than the old ones!

I recently saw a Boholmen with a drip tray somewhere on the website as a "Clearance Offer." If you don’t assemble a kitchen every day, it definitely takes some time. You want to do it properly, after all.

Just a tip!!

Starting about two weeks in advance, I assembled all the bare cabinet carcasses (1–2 per day) and stored them in the basement, protected by that roller cover fleece you use on the floor when painting. This way, on the actual assembly days, I only had to carry the finished carcasses into the kitchen. Since they’re empty and very light, one person can manage it alone, if needed with a carrying strap. Only the large wall cabinets, which are 200cm (79 inches) tall, I assembled shortly before installation.

Best regards, robi

Could this also be used for these drawer pulls?

Unfortunately, not every handle is available for this narrow front.

No, different drawer slides are used for that. I would buy handles from another supplier, for example these:

Several horizontal stainless steel tubes form a railing or handrail element

Also nice!
The only downside with all of them is the much shallower depth of 32 and 35 mm (1.3 and 1.4 inches) compared to the 41 mm (1.6 inches) depth of the Lansa handles.
Is it known who manufactures the Ikea handles?

Probably some Chinese-made product.

Have you considered that bar handles can sometimes easily catch on clothing?
