ᐅ IKEA Metod 20-inch drawers look better than the wire basket drawers.

I’m currently at IKEA and just tried out the new 20cm (8 inches) wide, 80cm (31 inches) high Metod drawers that will replace the previous wire drawers. They are white inside, have two levels (not sure if height adjustable), and feature soft close. I don’t know the price and whether I’m allowed to upload a photo I took myself. But I liked them much better than the old ones!

So, here you go. Unfortunately, my old phone doesn’t take very good photos, sorry.

Thank you for the photos. So these are two very narrow Maximera units. Have you seen a price for them?

In the picture, you can see that the pull-outs are connected at the back. They are probably only available as a set with a matching drilling template fixed at the correct distance.

I really think they will arrive before the official new catalog in August. Just don’t install the wire basket, return it instead, and better wait a bit with the cabinet. ^^

Just had a pleasant conversation with a helpful staff member. The pull-out is apparently called Maximera, will probably cost 10-20€ more than the wire pull-out, and is expected to arrive in about two months. I will upload two photos later.
