Hello everyone,
would it be possible, with a bit of DIY skill, to equip the small (55cm (22 inches)) Maskros with an E27 socket instead of the E14?

Thanks in advance for your help 🙂

Why is that necessary? Do you have electrical training? Otherwise, keep your hands off and buy the appropriate bulbs. :p

Thank you first for your response. Yes, I am an electrician, but I have not yet purchased the lamp and wanted to know in advance if it is possible to remove the original socket. The reason is that not every lamp is available with an E14 socket.

Hello,

take a look at the installation manual. You should be able to remove or replace the socket, but the question is whether the holder for the "shade" will fit properly on an E27 socket with a larger diameter, leaving enough space for an E27 bulb.
