ᐅ IKEA MALM Bed Frame with Storage (Lift-Up) 140x200 cm

Hello!

I assembled the mentioned bed (Malm bed, foldable) according to the assembly instructions, but now the slatted frame won’t fold up. Does anyone have experience with this and an idea where the problem might be? I’ve been trying to find the issue for ages but can’t figure it out.

have you tried pulling the slatted frame down using your full body weight?

I have already tried with a lot of force but not yet using my full body weight because I am afraid it might break.

Maybe not enough support yet. Is there already a heavy mattress on the slatted frame?

I decided to push the thing down with full force, and suddenly it worked easily!! I have no idea what was going on, but I got it now 😀 Thanks for the help!!
