Hi everyone!
I need help with the instructions for my Malm bed frame, specifically on page 12, step 10.
My problem is that the screws only partially go through the holes in the aluminum stabilizers. With a lot of force, they can be screwed in at most halfway.
However, the screws fit through the holes in the slats attached to the bed frame without any issues.
Has anyone experienced the same problem or found a solution?
Thank you very much in advance for your help!
Best regards

Hi,
I have the same bed (for about 4 years now) and have assembled it twice.
For me, these screws were also very hard to put in, but with a lot of force they eventually went all the way in.
That makes sense, since there is no thread in the metal and it is supposed to be tight, otherwise it would cause noise with every movement in the bed.
Unfortunately, I can’t help you much more than that...
