kuehlwalda14 Mar 2016 19:56Hello!
I have the following question:
I installed a single-run Kvartal with the spacers mounted on the ceiling.
.... Set screws tightened. The rail is hanging .... but it can still be slid within the holders.
Did I miss something?
Thanks and best regards,
kuehlwalda

IKEA-Freund14 Mar 2016 20:58Hello,
first of all: I am not using Kvartal rails. If you have only pushed in the mushroom-shaped fittings for ceiling mounting, the rail should still be movable. You should achieve fixation through the screwed connecting pieces (even if you are installing just a single rail) – simply push them in completely.

kuehlwalda14 Mar 2016 21:22... you mean as a stopper in the track?
Then I would need two.

the instructions suggest that two connectors are included. However, even if there is only one, it should be enough to secure the rail against lateral movement.

kuehlwalda14 Mar 2016 22:44.... You would really need to install two; with just one, it could still be shifted to one side.
(yes, two are included)
.... but once again, not properly thought through by Ikea
