ᐅ Ikea kitchen / wall cabinet, joint drill holes

I seem to have made a mistake. For connecting the wall cabinets, I used the second hole from the bottom and the second hole from the top (drilled through and connected with the metal pin). At least for the upper cabinet, this is exactly how it is shown in the instructions... Now, of course, the door hinges no longer fit. What a frustrating instruction manual. :-/
I think the third hole should have been used in each case.
Has this happened to anyone else?
Anyway, I’ve now eased off a bit, and if someone is looking for this issue, they might find this post and be warned...

Well, I’m not familiar with the instructions in detail, but once you’ve assembled a few cabinets and installed hinges, you know how it works!
