Hello everyone,
as the question suggests, I find it surprising that IKEA kitchens are quite affordable. How is the workmanship, meaning the quality? And what about the IKEA hinges? Do IKEA kitchens last a long time?
Best regards

Karsten, if you have a lady in Lübeck, did you buy the kitchen there? The trouble usually comes when ordering online. The order gets canceled if the items are unavailable, and you can't reach anyone either. They can’t deliver individual parts later, nor from a branch store – everything has to come from the central warehouse.

Corner pull-outs? What exactly did you buy? It’s definitely not what we got.At IKEA, there are quite a few options to equip a cabinet [emoji38]
I’m not a fan of visible drawers with them—some weight, and they sag a bit [emoji20]

Knallkörper10 Aug 2017 09:18My experience with IKEA has been generally positive. Over several months, I consistently had the same contact person for the "IKEA kitchen expert check." Emails were always answered promptly, either by a callback or by email response.
The delivery took 3 weeks, excluding the countertop. I did not order the appliances from IKEA. Upon delivery, one cabinet front and eight door dampers were missing. Assembling the cabinets along with the appliances took almost 60 hours. Our kitchen measures nearly 13 meters (43 feet) in length and has three corners, which required a lot of time, as did some of the appliances and the numerous drawers.
After the cabinets were installed, someone came to measure the countertop, using fully digital and 3D methods. The delivery of the countertops took another 2 weeks, and the installation including making the cutouts took 1 day.

Yes, everything was purchased in Lübeck. All dealings were with Mr. J. and his supervisor Mrs. C.
