Hi there,

I have a question:

I’m about to buy a kitchen from IKEA. I have already had a kitchen planned by IKEA.

However, I’m not very experienced with the transport and assembly. In other words, I’m relying on IKEA and their service. The nearest IKEA is about 30km (18.5 miles) from my home.

What are your experiences with IKEA’s transport and assembly services? I’m mainly interested in whether it remains affordable in the end, or if it might be better to choose a local furniture store.

Does the delivery and assembly end up being too expensive? Should I consider transporting it myself instead? I’m worried about missing parts and having to make a second trip, which can be frustrating, right? ops:

Please share your experiences! I’m looking forward to hearing from you.

Best regards,

and regarding the warranty: thanks for the reminder! now I’ll file the receipts twice as carefully!

It’s best to make copies of the receipts because over time they can fade and become unreadable, especially since there used to be a time before thermal paper... Just one of the quirks of the technology.
