I have to say, renting a Ford Transit for €13.99 (family price) per hour is great!
I live in Hamburg and only need to rent it for 2 hours (minimum rental period), paying €28, and I have everything at home.
The downside is that you have to set the rental time slot in advance. So, I need to plan to order my furniture at the customer service desk and pick it up at the collection point. If I rent the van from 3 to 5 pm, I have to time it so that I have the goods by 3 pm at the latest. The rental period then starts unavoidably.
This is probably the best solution. At that price, it wouldn’t make sense to keep several vans available, I think.
All in all, the best option for me. But also the most challenging. Pack up, drive home, unpack, drive back, return, eat a steak 😀
