IKEA-Experte20 Aug 2014 12:57Hello, you mean the fitting 105978, which is mounted at the head and foot ends and into which the central beam is inserted?
If customer service can no longer order it, I would first get the one from Skorva (116791) and try if it fits. You can check beforehand whether the hole spacing could fit at all (64 mm (2.5 inches)).
If HAMAR does not fit into the fitting, but the hole spacing is correct, you still have the option to replace HAMAR with SKORVA and the newer cross braces completely.
Please share your experience.

Thank you very much for your effort and detailed advice. The connecting piece at the front and rear is available, but I am missing the clamp that connects the cross braces to the central beam. However, I might need to replace the entire fastening system. Unfortunately, Ikea no longer offers this part. Are there any websites where “old” Ikea spare parts can be purchased?

IKEA-Experte31 Aug 2014 15:29I haven’t come across any site offering old Ikea spare parts yet. It probably isn’t economical either. You can most likely only make such a clamp yourself or, as I mentioned above, use SKORVA and new crossbars.
Hello IKEA expert, good things come to those who wait. 😀 I realized that you only need one clamp for the X-connecting rods (not two, as I initially thought). So the bed is now assembled. However, it’s almost impossible to find an old Malm manual online. I probably would have figured it out faster with that. Thanks again very much for your help and time!
