Hello,

the front panel of my IKEA Hjälpsam dishwasher suddenly comes off the lower hinge of the Behjälplig rail every time I open it (see photos). First on the left side, then on the right.

While researching my issue, I read several times that this rail (and apparently I also have the previous model) is not very good, or in some cases possibly even a design flaw. Unfortunately, I still haven’t found a solution to my problem.

Does anyone have any ideas on what I can do? I would appreciate any advice.

Best regards,
Max

Hi. Possibly the front panel hits an edge at the bottom when pivoting and is thus pushed out of alignment? I noticed this during the installation of the last Ikea dishwasher front.

No, there is no edge pressing – I have already checked.

Hello Steffi,

WOW, that really looks like a suitable solution. The clips actually encircle the axle, unlike my "old ones." I’ve just ordered them and will try them out tomorrow. Thanks!

Best regards,
Max

Unfortunately, that was not the solution to the problem :-( Upon closer inspection, I realized that the edge on the left is actually pushing the front panel out. However, why this suddenly started happening from one day to the next is a mystery to me. Unfortunately, I also don’t know how to fix this issue. Does anyone have any ideas?

Close-up of a door hinge: screws fasten a metal frame to a wooden edge, white door panel on the left.

Black plastic part protrudes through a metal inner wall; red tape marks the edge.
