The dimensions match those stated on the website. A few months ago, I assembled the combination in high-gloss white, and it was the same there as well. Hopefully, you didn’t buy the RÖRSKÄR faucet too.

It matches the dimensions given on the website. A few months ago, I assembled the combination in gloss white, and it was the same then.

Okay, thanks.
More or less it matches. I was just surprised because it sticks out so far at the front.
But I noticed that in many IKEA product images, the sink is centered exactly on the vanity cabinet (meaning the sink extends about 2.5cm (1 inch) beyond the cabinet at both front and back). The thing is, if the sink sticks out 2.5cm (1 inch) at the back, you can’t attach the vanity cabinet to the wall anymore because it has to sit flush against the wall, right?
Hopefully you didn’t buy the RÖRSKÄR faucet as well.

No, why?

I have one more question:

The instructions say that the two upper holes (out of the four) in the vanity cabinet should be between 73.5 and 76cm (29 and 30 inches) in height. For me, around 78cm (31 inches) would be ideal. What disadvantages would this cause? (Maybe the drain won’t fit then?)
Or are the height specifications only related to the optional feet?

But I noticed that in many Ikea product images, the sink is positioned exactly in the center of the vanity unit (so the sink protrudes about 2.5cm (1 inch) both at the front and back).

I think this only looks that way because of the perspective, since the sink also overhangs slightly on the sides. The handle strip on the white version is 4cm (1.5 inches) wide and aligns roughly with the sink. It isn’t very comfortable to touch either.
What disadvantages could result from this? (maybe then the drain won’t fit?) Or are the centimeter measurements only due to the optional legs?

As far as I remember, that’s only because of the legs, and the siphon hose was long enough. It’s best to check and estimate carefully beforehand to be sure.

Hello,

The sink has been installed for a few days now, and everything is working perfectly. I’m happy.
Now only the lighting above the mirror is missing, but that won’t be purchased from Ikea (the SJÖBRIS lamp will probably not be delivered again for about 2 months, if at all).

@RÖRSKÄR: lol
I have the LUNDSKÄR, which also splashes a bit because the water comes down from such a height...

I'm not bothered by the protruding sink as much anymore.
However, in this picture, the gap is smaller again (it’s a different sink, but it should be just as deep...) :
