Hello everyone,
We own two Godmorgon vanity cabinets.
They are two 80cm (31.5 inches) wide vanity cabinets.
On top of these, we have two separate vessel sinks.
We want to install a continuous wooden countertop underneath the sinks, which will fit flush between the sinks and the vanity cabinets.
We plan to have the countertop custom cut at a home improvement store (with cutouts for both sinks and the drain).
Has anyone done something like this before or implemented it with the Godmorgon series?
The cabinets will be wall-mounted.
1. Is it sufficient to secure each cabinet to the wall using four wall plugs?
2. Is the countertop typically screwed to the vanity using brackets?
3. Will the vanity cabinet support the weight of the countertop plus contents, or should the countertop rather be supported by a steel frame attached to the wall?

There are already several posts on this topic. This is how I solved it:

However, I’m not sure if it was absolutely necessary.
