Hi everyone,
I am currently putting together a desk combination using Galant components. I have two 120cm x 60cm (47 inches x 24 inches) desks placed side by side. Is it possible to support the area in the middle, where both desks meet, with a single leg, or does each desk need its own leg? My assumption is that each desk probably requires its own leg, but maybe there is a solution.
At the moment, I have planned T-legs, but I could also use A-legs in the middle if that would work.
Thanks and best regards

newswedishdesign14 Nov 2012 18:17It is possible to use two tabletops/frames and six legs (A-legs or three T-legs) by securely connecting the frames together. You can do this with a metal bracket that has corresponding threads on both sides, or with a wooden block that fits exactly into the tubes and can then be screwed in with wood screws.
The question, of course, is whether you want to go through that effort, since a set of A-legs in silver only costs 20 euros. Before buying three sets of T-legs (a total of 120 euros), I would rather buy four sets of A-legs for 80 euros, because A-legs are even more stable than T-legs (as they are screwed in at two slightly separated points instead of just one), even if it doesn’t look like it visually.

Thank you for your replies. I’m a bit busy at the moment and forgot to respond to the first answer right away, sorry about that 😳
Before I buy, I definitely want to see the legs in person, as in the photos the A-legs don’t appear much more stable than the T-legs. Couldn’t you also connect the two frames and then use A-legs? 😀 I’m not concerned about the extra effort; I’d rather invest a bit more time than have to be annoyed by the “annoying” look every time I see it.
