ᐅ Ikea Faktum Tall Cabinet Oven and Microwave Position of Shelves

Hello dear community,
I am currently assembling a Faktum tall cabinet FA750 (60 x 233 cm (24 x 92 inches)) with a Snabb microwave stacked above and a Raffinerad oven below. Unfortunately, I cannot find a clear description of which holes should be used to install the shelves for the microwave and oven, or which of the two possible mounting options (the short support pins with screw threads or the slightly taller ones with push-in pins) should be used for each shelf.

The microwave manual specifies hole 12 for the oven and hole 24 for the microwave (when using the small threaded pins), but the oven instructions are somewhat contradictory. Also, I am unsure if the oven should be placed directly on a shelf at all. Has anyone here already had experience with this combination and can offer some guidance?

you have the wrong microwave installation instructions for Metod. In instruction A for FAKTUM, according to the oven manual A (FAKTUM), the holes 17, 36, and 49 are specified. Use the raised brackets for holes 17 and 49, and the straight ones for hole 36.

Thank you very much for this information! You really need to know that the installation instructions for Metod are already available, even though the cabinets aren’t even on the market yet... Apparently, in the instructions, A = FAKTUM and B = METOD, which might also be helpful for others. Great, so you just have to cut a board to fit over the microwave, and everything should work out.

Norway and Denmark already use Metod and the same devices, which is probably why there are different instructions.
