Thanks for the information and the photo. On Saturday, I wasn’t quite that far along yet 🙂
It looks like the same brackets as those used for a base cabinet (which would make sense for Ikea). Then there is a 4cm (1.6 inches) distance from the outside edge to the center of the hole.
It probably isn’t adjustable, which means the hanging hooks have to be measured and drilled with 100% accuracy.
Correction: I just noticed in the PDF file you mentioned that a slight adjustment is possible with a metal plate (as you wrote).

assamerer2 Nov 2010 19:17So, I measured 2.5cm (1 inch) from the inner edge of the cabinet to the center of the hole. If you include the outer wall (18mm / 0.7 inch), it should be about 4.3cm (1.7 inches). Since the hole is quite large, you can also drill a bit more to the left or right.
The brackets are the same as those for the base cabinets. Here are two more pictures.
If you want to install the Rationell lighting strip instead of the bottom panel, buy those parts right away. We bought the strip afterwards (on Friday) and had to disassemble about 75% of the cabinet again.
