ᐅ IKEA FAKTUM – Is it possible to use Capita or Metod legs with a Faktum kitchen?

Hello, I would like to update my Faktum kitchen (specifically, a type of highboard that I assembled from three Faktum cabinets) and install new legs.
I have already purchased furniture feet with M8 threads, which can be easily screwed onto the Faktum cabinets (already tested).

Currently, I have the old Capita legs – 4 per cabinet (so a total of 12).

The original plan was:
I only replace the legs (a total of 12); the mounting plate (is that the correct term?) and the screw that allows fine height adjustment would remain under the cabinets.

Now I just noticed that with the NEW Capita legs (the ones for Metod), you can connect two cabinets together and support them on one leg.

I find this visually much more appealing. At least at the front (where it is visible), I would like to do it this way.
The three cabinets would then stand on a total of 8 or 10 legs (if I only connect in the front).

Does anyone know if the new Capita legs (or the mounting plates) are compatible with the pre-drilled holes on the Faktum cabinets?
Or is it also possible to place two cabinets on one leg with the old cabinets, and I just didn’t realize this?

I would really appreciate any help!

Thank you!

I meant that if you use non-IKEA legs, you need to ensure that the load is not transferred only from the baseplate to the legs. If you use Capita, the correct installation is shown in the assembly instructions.

It's me again.. I went to buy Capita today. It seems to me that they don’t fit under Faktum, or am I missing something essential? The drill holes below the base cabinet don’t match – the Faktum cabinets I have here have three or two holes arranged vertically, but Capita requires holes arranged in a square pattern. What now?

The screws are simply driven into the wood. There are no pre-drilled holes for CAPITA.

Oh, okay. That’s something you need to know. Thanks (once again).

One more thing: the holes provided suggest approximately where the legs should go... or are there specific guidelines for this?
