Oleander11523 Apr 2015 08:56We have a Faktum kitchen with Stat fronts.
Now I would like to replace our freestanding stove with an induction cooktop and oven.
For this, I need the base cabinet (and a new countertop), which I have also found in the spare parts service.
Somehow, I feel like I might also need a panel or drawer for below the oven. Or does the oven fill the space all the way down to the bottom edge of the cabinet?
I would appreciate any clarification.

IKEA-Freund23 Apr 2015 10:08Hello,
yes, a trim panel is still needed for this. Depending on the dimensions of the oven, the trim panel may need to be cut down, and an edge band should be included. You can see or download what this looks like on the Australian IKEA website.
With my (Miele) oven, everything fit perfectly, so the trim panel did not have to be shortened. It may be different with other models.
Good luck!

IKEA-Experte23 Apr 2015 12:09With the base cabinet for the built-in oven, unlike installation in a tall cabinet, no trimming is necessary.
Additional question hoping for clarification:
I have now found the NYTTIG separation for the cooktop.
Is this also required if I have the oven base cabinet, meaning the cooktop is installed above and the oven below?
The description mentions that this part is necessary, for example, if you want a drawer underneath.
And if it is necessary, which one do I need? There is one in the standard range and one made of, I believe, stainless steel available as an accessory.
