Hello,
Our 16-year-old Miele dishwasher unfortunately broke down, and we are looking for a new one.
Currently, we have a freestanding unit that is installed under the counter. It is a 60cm (24 inch) model.
Of course, it doesn’t look very appealing.
I have been researching options for our ivory white Ädel kitchen.
Unfortunately, I couldn’t find any replacement fronts in the aftersales shop, neither for fully integrated nor for partially integrated dishwashers.
1. Are there even fronts available for partially integrated dishwashers?
2. Is this front simply screwed onto the dishwasher? I looked at the thread about Metod kitchens, and it didn’t sound very straightforward.
3. I read somewhere that Faktum Ädel and Metod Gyrtnäs are the same in color and design. Is that true? And if so, would there be a front available for partially integrated dishwashers?
4. The Faktum shop states “Items not available in the shop are no longer obtainable.” Does this mean they are no longer being produced?
Otherwise, the plan would simply be to buy a white built-under dishwasher. That would still be acceptable if necessary.
Best regards,
Olli

Installation is done following the instructions from the sink manufacturer.
I believe, for example, that some side panels are no longer being produced. Essentially, these are parts that can usually be replaced with alternatives. I’m not entirely sure.
