A few years ago, we bought a Fagerland kitchen and have now expanded it. According to IKEA, this kitchen front has been recalled due to quality issues. Does anyone know if the front will be available again, possibly when, or if there are alternatives?

yes, Fagerland is a bit of an issue. The problem has been ongoing for quite some time. It has been mentioned several times that orders can be placed again, but this has also been postponed repeatedly. My latest information was that it might be possible to order from the central warehouse starting in November, but the goods won’t be restocked in the houses until the beginning of next year.
There is no information that Fagerland will be discontinued or that it will no longer be available, at least for now. Even the staff can’t predict the future. There are two options now. Either wait and see if and when the goods become available again. Ordering via the central warehouse involves a shipping cost of 9 euros if the goods fit into a standard parcel. For large doors, side panels, baseplinths, or similar items, you pay full freight. In the store, that means 129 euros. Alternatively, there is the option to order Fagerland parts from a warehouse in Sweden, but this also comes with conditions. Ordering a complete kitchen front this way is not allowed. If you want to add just a few parts, that is no problem. Shipping costs apply here as well, but they are a flat rate of 10 euros, regardless of the size. However, only up to 6 individual parts are allowed per package. Please keep this in mind! You pay for the goods upfront in the store, and then they are delivered to your home. Delivery times are a bit vague. They always say 6–8 weeks, but based on experience, customers have waited between 1 and 4 weeks. Still, nothing can be guaranteed.
I think ordering from Sweden is a really good solution for existing Fagerland customers. Let us know what you decide. 🙂

Your problem has been ongoing for a few months. About an hour ago, I saw the doors still in their original packaging at the IKEA Berlin Waltersdorf clearance section.
40 cm (16 inches) wide for wall cabinets / 2-piece folding door for 3 euros. 195 x 60 cm (77 x 24 inches) for 15 euros. Other sizes in 40 and 50 cm (16 and 20 inches) are also available. Their prices fall somewhere in between.
So just give them a call and check if they have your sizes.
