I have a problem: I have a Metod kitchen from 2017 with the old dark gray Ringhult fronts, which are no longer available. Now I want to cut a 40cm (15.7 inches) wide base cabinet door in half and turn it into two drawer fronts because I need a drawer cabinet. How do I attach the door pieces to the drawers? Is there a drilling template for the fronts?

But my brother also advised against it. He suggested I keep the door as is and add the inner drawers behind it, which is also possible. A pity, but I’ll do it that way.

Check the classifieds under the postal code 22299 for Ringhult; someone is offering exactly two of the fronts you’re looking for, and shipping is possible. Thanks! But unfortunately, the fronts offered are not in the old dark gray but in the current light gray.
I’ll keep the door and only install inner C-shaped shocks.
