ᐅ Installing Ikea Domsjö Double Sink and Atlant Trap – Installation Tips?

Hello IKEA fans and experts!

We recently got a Domsjö double sink and are struggling with installing the Atlant siphon. Maybe someone can give me a crucial tip.

We found the longer screws that come specially with the Domsjö, but I have no idea what to do with them. Where exactly should the screw fit? I hope someone understands what I mean and can help me with a tip or maybe even a photo – I just don’t get it.

Could it be that the sink came with regular screws, but the Atlant siphon came with "screws" that are hollow inside and too short for Domsjö? If that’s the case, then the long screws are probably for the old Atlant siphon, and you will need to get the new screws from IKEA or have IKEA send them to you.

Yes, exactly. So, has Atlant been changed in the meantime? Well, that certainly explains a lot.
