ᐅ IKEA Datid HW570 Range Hood Dimensions and User Experiences

We have ordered the IKEA Datid HW570 range hood, among other things. But before it arrives, I wanted to prepare the wall opening and relocate the power outlet. For that, I need the measurements.

How high should the opening be?
Where should the power outlet be placed at a minimum?

Without a drawing or similar, this is not possible, and I can only do it once the Datid HW570 range hood is here. However, I would actually like to have everything ready by then and just hang it up.

Or does anyone know where to get the template that is included in the installation manual for the Datid HW570 range hood? It shows the exact point where the wall cutout should be, as far as I can see.

Ikea is quite difficult when it comes to providing measurements. Other manufacturers often include an exploded diagram.

You could try contacting the manufacturer's customer service.

Looking at step 18 of the assembly instructions, I would roughly estimate it like this:
Height of the opening = height of the underside of the hood + 40 cm (16 inches) + 30 cm (12 inches) (40 cm (16 inches) = assumed height of the hood without the chimney)
Outlet height = height of the opening + 30 cm (12 inches)

Couldn't you stop by IKEA and take some measurements?
