Hello everyone,

to those of you who have a pantry: what kind of shelving do you have inside? We wanted to put in the Ikea Boaxel shelving unit or the Ivar shelving, but due to the door they don’t quite fit. What alternatives are you using?

I chose a Pax. At the bottom, there are four drawers each (for cans, cartons, pasta, etc.). In my opinion, it looks much better and tidier than those shaky sliding systems (I have those in my workshop, and they annoy me there as well). However, you do lose some space, and it’s not as stable if you don’t make any adjustments.

TEGOMETALL – clear and simple! Ordering used items saves costs. The floor slab is more likely to give way than the Tego shelving to collapse.

We have heavy-duty shelves from Metro in our apartment, and they are great. They will probably be the same in our house.
These units are durable and perfectly serve their purpose.

Heavy-duty shelves from OBI, item no. 4205142, fit perfectly.
However, I also think Pax is not a bad idea—especially the one with drawers… although I’m not sure if we could fit the 60 cm (24 inch) version there; I think probably not, as we didn’t pay attention to the exact dimensions in the utility room.

What doesn't fit? The width (1m (3.3 ft)) or the depth (50cm (20 inches))?
