ᐅ Ikea Besta wall mounting: stacking two cabinets vertically

Hello,

I have a carcass with article number: 602.458.44
120cm x 40cm x 38cm (47 inches x 16 inches x 15 inches) mounted with 2 Besta wall rails.
Now I would like to install exactly the same carcass above it.
Can I simply place it on top, or should I use 2 Besta rails again?

Usually, it is also fixed with rails. Of course, you can simply place it on top and screw it to the bottom. It depends on what you want to put inside.

Hello,

For greater stability and safety, it would be better to mount the second cabinet with BESTA wall rails as well, instead of simply placing it on top of the lower one. This way, you ensure a secure attachment of both units.
