we purchased a Besta Vara cabinet combination. However, I’m having some trouble mounting the two shelves on the wall. According to the assembly instructions, you only insert two plastic pieces at the back and then drill a 10mm (3/8 inch) wall plug through them into the wall – but I’m wondering how that could possibly hold securely?
Does anyone have a better idea?
It concerns the two shelves above the TV.

those plastic things really do not inspire much confidence.
I am not familiar with the original version, so I cannot judge whether it is better.
Since you have cabinets on the side and they are all screwed together, the load on the hanger is naturally not that high.
