Hello everyone,
I couldn’t find an entry related to my problem, or maybe I just missed it.
I want to fit a cabinet body 128 cm (50 inches) wide with two 38 cm (15 inches) drawers and one 26 cm (10 inches) drawer, leaving a shelf with a storage compartment on top.
Now I’m stuck: with two large drawers and then the smaller one installed, the gap between the second large drawer and the small drawer is about 1 cm (0.4 inches). Then I swapped the second large drawer with the smaller one, but the gap doesn’t get any smaller.
By calculation, it should fit: 38 + 38 + 26 + 26. Whether I install the second smaller drawer or a shelf, it shouldn’t make a difference.
Where am I making a mistake?
Thanks a lot for your help.

Hi everyone,
I solved the problem; there was also a suggested solution somewhere here in the forum.
I didn’t pay attention to the note at point 11 during the cabinet assembly – as apparently many others didn’t either.
The pre-drilled hole for the handles must be facing DOWN! It sounds illogical to place drawer handles at the bottom, but that’s how it works!
It’s actually not bad to have the handles at the bottom, but at first assembly, it seemed completely illogical to me.
Best regards

P.S.
I have a 38cm (15 inches) drawer at the bottom with no pre-drilled holes for handles. Above it, there are two 26cm (10 inches) drawers. I didn’t want the handle holes for the 38cm (15 inches) drawer to be just above the floor, so I used a 26cm (10 inches) front panel as a drilling template, placed from above with the hole facing down. This way, all the handles are spaced evenly.

The pre-drilled hole located in the center of one side of the drawer front is not intended for attaching a handle. Handles or knobs are usually positioned using a drilling template.
The assembly instructions can be a bit tricky here; you need to be very careful to install the fronts the right way round. Then everything will fit properly.
