During our last visit to Ikea, we fell in love with the Besta series in black-brown (doors in black high gloss). Unfortunately, we’re still unsure which wall color would match well. (Maybe a light sand tone? A strong light green? Gray?)
Does anyone here have this in their living room and can give us some good advice?
Thanks in advance! 🙂

I would base that on the other walls and the rest of the furniture and décor in the room.

The rest of the room is currently painted white, and the decorations will be removed with the new furniture set. The room is bright, and the seating is black leather. We don’t want to paint the entire wall, just the "background" behind the furniture. I think we will try a very light beige. 🙂

Nayla_106813 Apr 2013 21:57Hi,
since the furniture and your sofa already have a very dominant dark color, you should opt for light, soft colors. As already mentioned, a light yellow or beige would be a good choice. Colors like red or green don't really fit, not even in pastel shades, as they seem out of place.
Best regards
