I'm starting to get really frustrated. These small cross braces keep rattling no matter what I do. I already got longer M4 screws, tightened them properly with matching nuts, and wrapped the braces tightly with tape. Still, they rattle on their own. I even considered squeezing them together with pliers, but if they break, that won’t help either.
Does anyone have a good tip on what else I could try?

I would first screw the braces together at three points. If that doesn't help or isn’t possible, my next attempt to reduce vibration would be to place something between the two parts of a brace.
