Hello,
I have a small problem and might be doing something wrong.
We have an IKEA BASISK wall lamp, and after three years the bulb has burned out. I just can’t seem to unscrew the bulb! I can turn something with a lot of force, but then the whole arm of the lamp turns instead, and the bulb doesn’t come out. Am I missing something? I didn’t find anything helpful in the manual either.
Maybe someone has had the same issue with this IKEA BASISK wall lamp?

Unfortunately, light bulbs tend to "seize up." They practically fuse to the lamp socket. If you can hold the lamp socket firmly, you should be able to unscrew the bulb with gentle force. If possible, try to remove the lampshade first, as it is attached with an external thread. It’s a bit fiddly, but that’s my only suggestion.
Best regards
Na.
