Hello,
we bought two Pax wardrobes with sliding doors.
For wardrobe 1, the sliding doors (2x Färvik) fit into the frame without any issues and work fine.
For wardrobe 2, we wanted to use one side Färvik and one side AULI (mirror glass). We tried everything and measured multiple times, but somehow the metal frame won’t close properly when all the mirror glass panels are in place. If we take the same frame and install the Färvik glass panels there, the frame closes normally.
Has anyone experienced something similar? I suspect the panels might be slightly thicker and therefore don’t fit far enough into the rubber seals, but it’s also possible that we’re just doing something wrong 🙂

IKEA-Experte28 Sep 2015 12:59I am not familiar with the current sliding door frame, but have you tried using lubricant?

IKEA-Experte29 Sep 2015 13:47I was thinking more along the lines of silicone grease or glycerin. Using some lubrication is quite common for these kinds of issues. Of course, it shouldn’t be applied so heavily that it causes tension afterwards. Please let us know if it works better with the other mirrors.
