Hello,
I’m getting a bit frustrated. We replaced our Atlant trap on our domsjö sink because the screws on the old trap had rusted through and it no longer stayed attached to the sink.
I got the long screws for the old domsjö sink with the integrated overflow, so all the parts should fit. However, I can’t manage to connect the Atlant to the sink in a way that stops water from leaking through (I tried the seals with the smooth surfaces facing up and down, centered the drain several times, and tightened it again). Does anyone have any tips or experience with this? I have the impression that the ceramic on the underside of the sink is just not even enough to seal properly with the gaskets. Could applying some additional plastic sealant like plastic plumber’s putty help?
Thanks very much for your replies!
Best regards,
HP
