Hello,
I have a question about the Algot system and hope to get a quick answer here.
I would like to know how many brackets I can fit at most on a 1.96m (6.4 ft) long rail if I use every possible slot to create a shelf (even if the shelf would be very, very small, but this is more about the theory so I know the spacing length). I assume there are some hooks or slots in the rail where the brackets attach, right? Or are they continuously adjustable?
The nearest IKEA store is quite far from us, and I would like to plan at home exactly how many and which parts we will need.
Thank you very much

Hello IKEA expert,
but you don’t have the system at home, right?
I also checked the website and I mostly see 14cm (5.5 inches)...
However, it wasn’t very clear to me.
Maybe someone who actually has the system at home can quickly measure it and share.
That would be really kind.
Thanks in advance for your effort.

IKEA-Experte20 Sep 2014 23:02No, I don’t have an Algot. Take a look at the installation instructions for the rail; they clearly show how the parts hook into the rail. Using the zoom function on the pictures makes it easier to see those points.
