ᐅ Ideas for Socket Placement

behind one of my tall cabinets there are two power outlets that I would like to use. I am currently debating whether to simply cut an opening through the back panel or to install a multi-socket power strip inside the cabinet using two short Schuko cables. Has anyone done something like this before?

And why not chisel out a short section, lay a flexible 16mm (5/8 inch) pipe over it, embed the flush-mounted boxes in plaster, and install proper sockets in the tiled backsplash?

Take a look at the Schulte Evoline flat plug with a triple socket. That might help you. Otherwise, I would install the sockets in the cabinet unit (not the back panel) exactly as YOU suggested, using the extension.
