Hello, I have purchased a nice plot of land (700m2 (7,535 sq ft)) and now want to build a house. I have already looked through the typical websites of construction companies, but there don’t seem to be many truly new ideas. Does anyone know of a kind of directory or gallery with a wide variety of houses? It shouldn’t be too unusual – just a nice, normal house – but with smart features and real eye-catching qualities! If you share your rough ideas (including your budget) and your requirements with them, they will design a custom house for you, far from any standard designs. They will take into account the conditions of your plot and, most importantly, building regulations. A house also has to fit the plot.....

Phew, one-and-a-half stories is probably the most common roof style overall, and the architectural design is not limited to the roof shape, meaning many buildings can be realized with different roof types.
Otherwise, there are thousands of designs available, ranging from prefab house portals (fertighaus.de, etc.) to house manufacturers (Baufritz.de, etc.).

If you are now planning to build and haven’t done so already, I would recommend thoroughly researching everything related to building, such as insurance, energy efficiency regulations, and more. Make sure to read up well, as there will likely be additional factors to consider and include in your financing.
