Hello!

Good day everyone. I’m new to the forum and would like to get straight to the point.
I would like to present a floor plan for discussion.
It is the first upper floor, designed to accommodate a family of four.
The exterior walls are fixed, as is the size of the balcony.
Also fixed are the position of the staircase and the two load-bearing walls.
What can be improved to gain more space and storage, and possibly create a walk-in closet for the bedroom?

Floor plan of an apartment: open kitchen/dining/living area, bedroom, 2 children’s rooms, bathroom, balcony.

The external dimensions of the building are exactly 15 m by 10 m (49 feet by 33 feet).

Now you have no space left for the washbasin.

I also created 2 more versions. However, I still haven’t found a good radiator placement.

Version 3 (version 2 was discarded):

Floor plan of an apartment: living room, kitchen, hallway, bathroom, two children’s rooms, bedroom, and balcony.

Version 5 (version 4 was also discarded):

Floor plan of an apartment: living room, kitchen, balcony, hallway, bathroom, 2 children’s rooms, bedroom.

I like option 5, but of course, it comes at the expense of the hallway.
But isn’t there a sink in my plan? In the bathroom, on the east wall?

Something similar to your version:

was how my number 4 looked, just mirrored.
The problem I see is that a 100 cm (40 inch) partition wall from the shower is not enough to catch all the splash water, so it would need to be longer. However, this makes the passage corner between the partition wall and the room wall very tight. In my case, it was about 59 cm (23 inch).

How long would this wall need to be?

I believe a shower that is only 140 to 150 cm long (55 to 59 inches) should generally be closable. I prefer door solutions that open inward into the shower. I don’t like it when water drips from the door or splashes collect outside the shower.
