Hello everyone,

I have underfloor heating, but one room is not getting warm. After unscrewing the actuators for the individual room control, the situation improved slightly. However, the flow rate is still too low. Can I adjust it somehow on the transparent flow meters? It is a Pipelife underfloor heating manifold. The valves for the actuators are on the return flow and are now fully open. The glass tubes are on the supply side – this is where I would need to make adjustments (since the valves where the actuators were are fully open).

Is this possible? And if so, how? Thanks in advance to everyone who can help!

Well, it’s not that simple. If you damage the spacing with that, chaos is bound to follow.

Yes, good point. However, there are a total of 4 distribution boxes throughout the entire house with a total of 16 circuits. If I increase one by 0.5 liters/min (0.13 gallons/min), the overall change is so minimal that it should have only a negligible effect on the temperature difference. Or am I missing something?

I wasn't referring to the temperature difference of the heat pump but rather to the temperature difference of the individual heating circuit.

You seem to know more than all the installers who have been here so far. Thank you!
The supply temperature feels the same for all heating circuits. If I now increase the flow rate in one heating circuit until the return flow is as warm as the others, the temperature difference in the problem circuit is the same as in the other circuits. So why can this still be an issue? Thanks for the information!

What temperature difference do you have in the other circuits? And can you provide a bit more information? What type of heating system do you have, photos of the installation, and which pumps are used? Which room is the problematic one? How is the underfloor heating designed? Pipe spacing? Diameter?

About 7 degrees Celsius (45°F), Junkers/Bosch air-source heat pump 15 kW, pump I believe is called Grundfos3, in the problem area the hose is longer because of more surface area, unfortunately I don’t know the rest. The house is new.
