ᐅ HPL stringer staircase or steel frame construction?

We need to choose a system in the coming weeks and would like to learn about your experiences with both systems to help us make our decision.

What are the advantages and disadvantages of each material?
What are your practical experiences? I would like to hear the opinions of owners of both systems.
Would you choose one system over the other again, and why?

Is there a significant cost advantage to one option versus the other?

This is definitely mostly a matter of personal preference. Both options work for going upstairs. We looked around at a stair company, and I would recommend you do the same. We are having our staircase custom-made there, but you should be able to browse without obligation at any company.
