Altbau19303 Sep 2017 17:12Hello everyone, I have a somewhat unusual question, but maybe someone here can help—ideally a truck driver experienced with containers:
Our driveway is not very wide, but a VW Golf fits through comfortably with some space on both sides. A small wall and a metal post form the entrance. If necessary, I would need to widen this opening.
I want to place a container in the yard because the closer it is to the house (or under the first-floor terrace), the fewer trips we have to make with the debris buckets.
Maybe someone here knows the total width of a container truck—not just the container size, but the truck as well? That would be great!
Thanks in advance and best regards

Altbau19303 Sep 2017 19:17Thank you, that should work!
I need to measure the clear width of the driveway precisely. It should be at least 3.00 m (10 feet) wide to allow the truck to pass through. Otherwise, the driveway will be adjusted accordingly.
