Hello. Today I have a perhaps rather silly question. A gas heating system is planned for our heating room, which is located on the ground floor. Does such a heater emit a lot of heat? How warm do you think it usually is in a heating room with a gas heater?

No, it does not get warm. It has no heating in our house and is the coldest room on the ground floor. It might be 4-5°C (7-9°F) colder than the rest, but I have never actually measured it.

Depending on the execution, it will not be warmer than the surrounding rooms.

Is it about food storage?

We don’t have underfloor heating in the utility room, but the heating manifold is installed there and the pipes run through the room, so you can clearly feel on the floor where the pipes are and where they aren’t. In that sense, it’s somewhat like partial underfloor heating. We don’t have a gas heating system, so I can’t comment on that.

We do not have heating in the room where our gas boiler with storage tank is located.

I would say that the temperature there reaches at most the same level as in the other normally heated rooms.
