We have received two offers for precast concrete garages.
Both have almost identical features. The price is also very similar.
The biggest difference is the type of roof waterproofing.
Which type of waterproofing would you prefer?
Option 1:
Roof waterproofing with polymer-modified bitumen membrane PYE G 200 S4, mineral surfaced
Option 2:
Liquid applied waterproofing ELAPRO 1k-CRYL LB (unsaturated polyester resin (UP) / polyacrylate)
With the bitumen membrane, I’m concerned that errors during the welding process could lead to leaks. However, this method has apparently been used for a very long time.
For the liquid applied waterproofing, I can hardly find any user experience, but it feels less prone to errors during application. Unfortunately, I can’t find any information on its durability.
What are your thoughts?
