what is the best way to seal the four HT pipes? Standard HT caps unfortunately do not fit because the connections have been cut off.
Are there other types of caps available? Or should I just use rags? My idea was to use expanding foam. Is there any reason against this? It just doesn’t look very neat.

Maybe take a clay flowerpot with the right diameter, cut it in half lengthwise, shorten it in length, then arrange the pieces around and glue the cut edges back together. Then paint the mortar on top in earth tones, and perhaps add a few artificial flowers.
A bit unconventional, but it will probably look nice. 🙂
