Hi,
I am looking for an app, a portal, or something similar where I can view and ideally manage or schedule all the necessary maintenance and related tasks for my house. I could probably gather everything from Google and put it into an Excel sheet or calendar, but maybe someone has a recommendation for a "home manager" app or another approach. Thanks!
Best regards,
Carsten

In the end, JIRA is just a tool where you enter deadlines and add comments.
That makes sense for large projects, but for the few dates you need to keep for a house, a recurring calendar event is enough.
What’s the big deal about regular maintenance? Who needs a set appointment to clean the gutters? You do it when they’re full, not on fixed dates.

Thank you for the additional input here.
Exactly, I’m mostly concerned with the topics Reggert mentioned, and I would like to reduce the mental load. Of course, I walk through the garden and see everything that needs to be done, but if it’s not planned at the beginning of the week, nothing gets done.
The tips for scheduling via “To-Do apps” are great, but I have decided to separate this from other private appointments/organizational stuff. Rather, I’m looking for a kind of “place” for all matters concerning the house. Ideally, in a standalone app or portal with features like:
- Maintenance overviews and scheduling
- Tips for smart home and energy-saving potential based on my house details
- Tracking property value development
- Storing/scanning/photographing documents related to the house (invoices, etc.)
- Task distribution among partners
- Favorite craftsmen list
- …
Am I making this overly complicated, or do you also see value in something like this?
Have a nice Sunday,
Carsten
