I would like to replace the current shower rod, which I did not install myself. Unfortunately, I can’t figure out how to remove it from the wall. Maybe someone here knows this system. The black plastic part can be pressed in about half a centimeter (0.2 inches), but there is no screw or anything visible behind it.

I would suggest pressing the black button firmly and then pulling the rod away from the wall. The mounting bracket should remain attached to the wall, with a screw visible. You can pull a bit more forcefully.

Pull a bit harder calmly. Thanks, that worked. I should have thought of that. But since you really had to pull strongly, I probably wouldn’t have managed it myself 🙂
