ᐅ How should water pipes be installed?

While installing our shower panels, I accidentally drilled into the hot water pipe. Do the pipes need to run vertically? The house is new.

As shown in the picture, this represents the current state of technology, it is what it is.

Is there no standard that specifies how pipes should be installed in Germany?

A drill has no place below the building plugs (red-blue). Only then, when I am 100% sure that nothing will be damaged, is it allowed.

Sorry, they are actually vertical – are you now trying to blame your own mistake on the installer???
