Hello,
I wanted to ask how long it took for you from signing the construction contract until the building company completed the building permit / planning permission application. I have been waiting for 5 weeks (1 month) now.
Regards,
André

I also chose the standard option. I wasn’t really in the mood to plan everything from scratch. Well, I will wait another week and then carefully inquire about the status of things.

Contract signed on March 27. Then we waited 2-3 weeks until the first planning meeting. We had a free floor plan design. We changed our draft 6-7 times, so it wasn’t until the end of July that we finished planning the house :-) Additionally, our building window is somewhat inconveniently timed, and we often had to wait for feedback from the building authority. We submitted the building permit application on August 17. Now, we just have to wait.
So, from signing with the developer to submitting the building permit application, it took 5 months (due to floor plan planning, renegotiation of additional costs, building authority clarifications, holiday periods, etc.).

this entirely depends on the capabilities of the construction company or their planners or architects. To prepare a building permit / planning permission application, elevation data of the site is also required, as these must be included in the elevations and cross-sections. This data is usually provided by a surveying office. Once the survey data is available and all design questions have been clarified with the client, a building permit / planning permission application for a single-family house built with conventional construction methods and measuring up to approximately 200 m² (2,150 sq ft) can be prepared within about two weeks.
