- Have a clear plan at home for the order of assembly and installation.
- Install the countertops only after the cabinet frames are built.
- Check electrical and water connections preferably at the same time.

If you don’t have much experience with furniture assembly, you might need more time. It’s better to allow some extra buffer to avoid frustration.

For us, it took about 18 hours with two people and a good amount of coffee – spread over two days. Adjusting the countertop took a bit of extra time, but with a positive attitude and some music, it went smoothly. So: don’t get stressed, it will work out!

I assembled my Metod kitchen myself last year, and it was really enjoyable! 💪 In total, the two of us spent about 16 hours, including preparation and minor adjustments.
