Since I have completed most of my preparations, I have looked back at the timeline of the house purchase so far. It’s quite surprising how long such a project takes. I don’t see much acceleration in my case. In particular, the land registry priority notice took only a few days.
In total, it’s about 4 months from the first viewing appointment to the handover of the house. Including renovation and so on until moving in, it adds up to 6-7 months. That sounds daunting at first but is ultimately realistic.
